Hi all -
The BCDCC voter registration/election integrity committee met last Thursday, 3/29, at Carol & Dave's house as before. Our group consisted of Joyce & Jim Spain, Marion McNamara, Clark House, Steve Starcevich, Ron Mason, chairperson Carol Sweeney, and Dave Conklin.

Exporting Our Ideas: Democratic Field Headquarters
Our Benton County "Field Headquarters" was a real success last year. "Using a simple blue canopy, a folding table and chairs, some banners, and lots of buttons, handouts, signup sheets, and voter registration forms and information, we registered 1358 voters and recruited 270 volunteers. A small group of Democrats agreed Thursday to force House and Senate debates on Election Day problems in Ohio before letting Congress certify President Bush's win over Sen. John Kerry in November.
