Registering new voters thru the Field HQ and other venues was a valuable tool in this last campaign both for increasing Democratic registrations and also for recruiting and engaging new volunteers. It is a neighborly, non-confrontational way of maintaining a presence in the community for the Democratic Party. This committee also has responsibility for working to improve election mechanics and assure election fairness.

Hi all -

The BCDCC voter registration/election integrity committee met last Thursday, 3/29, at Carol & Dave's house as before. Our group consisted of Joyce & Jim Spain, Marion McNamara, Clark House, Steve Starcevich, Ron Mason, chairperson Carol Sweeney, and Dave Conklin.

Exporting Our Ideas: Democratic Field Headquarters

Our Benton County "Field Headquarters" was a real success last year. "Using a simple blue canopy, a folding table and chairs, some banners, and lots of buttons, handouts, signup sheets, and voter registration forms and information, we registered 1358 voters and recruited 270 volunteers.
