Campaign Services and Candidate Recruitment Committee - Time to Get Cracking!

Campaign Services will meet the second Thursdays of the month. Our March meeting is on the 9th beginning at 7 PM. We do not have a confirmed place. Those wishing to attend, please email me at sunrise@peak.org or call at 929-2289 and I will send out information about where we are meeting in a couple of days.

We begin focusing more on campaign services for candidates. There are some 48 offices up for election in 2006. Filing for partisan and statewide non-partisan offices closes on March 7. There will still be need for recruiting for non-partisan offices, around 30 offices, such as city councils and fire boards. The closing for filing for those offices is August 29. Filing for those offices has not opened yet.

Campaign Services/ Candidate Recruitment Committee

We'll meet at the BCDems office in Philomath. Chair is Betty Malone, sunrise@peak.org. If you havent already received it, email Betty for the draft candidate and office holder evaluation matrix to review before the meeting.
