Starting Biff the Treasurer's blog

This is a new experience for me. I have never done much to write stuff publicly and regularly. But since i seem to be urging it on others as a way to communicate, I thought I ought to follow my own advice. Lets see what kind of fool I can make of myself or more positively, what good I might do.

I see this as a dual purpose blog. First, it is Biff's blog and thus a place for me to contribute or vent as it makes sense. Second, since I am the treasurer, it is a place for bits of treasurer updating.

Speaking of our finances, they are in quite good shape. We have money in the bank, we have a budget for the year (thanks to the good work of the committee chairs), we have office sponsors (thanks to Merry Demarest for February) and we continue to receive contributions. We are set to continue to build a strong and active local party!
