The Eugene Association of Realtors is a 960 member, not-for-profit trade association, serving real estate professionals in Lane County. The mission of the Association is to provide relevant housing information to local agents and the public. Congressman DeFazio will be speaking to members and answering questions at the event.

The University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History’s goal is to enhance public knowledge of the natural history and anthropology of Oregon and the broader world. The museum accomplishes this goal by supporting a number of research projects, maintaining active public programs, and continually working to up date and preserve their extensive collection. Finally, Congressman DeFazio will meet with employees of the Lane Transit District to discuss local transit issues. DeFazio is a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee where he serves as Chairman of the Highways and Transit Subcommittee, and also serves on the Aviation and Railroad Subcommittees. As Chairman, DeFazio will be the lead architect of the next highway bill, a five-year federal highway and transit spending bill and will work to bring needed infrastructure spending to Oregon to improve long-term economic viability and create jobs here at home.
